How to choose a portable hard drive and an internal hard drive

If you used a computer for a long time, you probably noticed that the computer files appear to have larger and larger. It is not uncommon when you're little space and runs under, to delete files. The other option, of course, there is another disc to add it.

When it comes to buying a new computer disk drive that you can choose to get one that fits inside a computer, or that used an external cable to connect up. Theis best depends on several factors:

Speed. An internal hard drive is much faster, probably because the connectors used. This does not mean that external hard drives is always a decent USB 2.0, fast enough for most people.

Size. Internal drives are available in much larger: it is easy to go to a 2 TB hard disk. Disk external at the moment, max 1TB.

Power. Drives Internal receive theirElectricity directly from the power of the computer. External drives vary - some require a separate power connection to others is sufficient to use the power available USB port.

Portability. A hard disk that the computer is fixed inside is obviously not very portable! If you want, then use the drive with multiple computers to an external hard drive is the only option.

Connection. There are different types of some of the indoor unitavailable as: IDE, SATA and SCSI. What you use depends leave the computer's motherboard. Most external hard drives these days, a standard USB port that can be used with most computers.
